icy mind monsters
which ensnare and paralyze.

beauty anticipated
white blanket everywhere
sun diamond icicles

Winter approaches
with it’s fearful beauty
and the dread
of cold and falling

Pity the one
unprepared for the cold
Pity the one
who falls down alone.
